1936 to 1946 vintage William Spratling Silver "River of Life" cuff

Condition: collector quality; the silver surface shows minimal wear & it has a nice patina

This is a massive and heavy cuff from Spratling's first design phase. It's the largest version of this design his studio made.

The rope moldings, incising and cutouts on this particular cuff are much better than most of the other River of Life cuffs that I've seen, making it an outstanding piece for any collection. It was obviously done by one of the better goldsmiths in the Taller. Spratling did not produce this design after 1946.
