1940's vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Horse Head Buttons, set of 6

Dimensions: 1-1/8" w x 7/8 h; 47.6 grams total

Marks: JMT, Mexico, 925 with 3 eagle. All the buttons are marked, but the button shank obscures some of the marks; the eagle marks are very worn

Condition: excellent condition for their age with a nice patina. The buttons are hollow.

The horse head was used by many Mexican goldsmiths during this period, including Margot, Los Castillo and Antonio Pineda. This is a very nice stylized set by an unknown maker of the period.
