1950's vintage Antonio Pineda Sterling Silver & Moonstone Bracelet

This collector quality bracelet is a variation on the Hector Aguilar "Book & 3 Beads" bracelet. The most interesting aspect of this design is that Pineda turned the "books" into parallelograms, creating an angled tension to the design as it marches around the wrist.

The blue hued moonstone cabochons alternate so there are two at one hinge and one at the next.

True to Pineda's work, the box clasp is incorporated into the design, hidden until you look for it. This is a fairly unusual design; I've never seen another one like it.
