1940's vintage Hector Aguilar Sterling Silver "Wave and Bead" Bracelet

Dimensions: 7-3/4" interior circumference; 1/2" wide; 34.4 grams

Marks: HA, 940, TAXCO, eagle 9 (these marks were typical 1948-1962)

Condition - wear commensurate with age; silver has a nice patina on the front. The patina on the back has a reddish cast - I'm not sure of the cause. Since they made up their own silver alloys with copper, it could be from that. This color doesn't appear on the face.

This is a great little bracelet to just throw on and wear. I've never seen another one like it. Judging from the design, I'd say it was made in the 1940's. It's made up of 10 cast pieces; each piece has 6 balls and an incised tongue. It's a very clever design.
